UTAH PERCUSSION FACULTY

We take great pride in the old adage practice what you preach, as we have amassed 164 years of professional playing and 133 years of teaching at the university level; covering literally all aspects of percussion. We have traveled, performed and presented all over the world. Our students have gone on to professional playing gigs, university teaching positions, working composers, studio musicians, audio engineers and educators.

We believe in an experiential, individualized approach to our teaching and utilize an ever-evolving pedagogy combing traditional “tried and true” methods to cutting edge technologies. Our goal is to provide students with “tools” for their “toolbox” as they develop their own identity as artists and future professionals in the field.
